金匱要略

Malaria with predominance of cold is called Mu Nue; Shu Qi San governs it. (Jin Gui Yao Lue (Essential Prescriptions of the Golden Cabinet))

Shu Qi (roasted to remove fishy odor), Yun Mu (roasted for two days and nights), Long Gu, equal parts. The above three ingredients are made into powder. Before the onset of the attack, take half a qian with rice-water. For warm malaria, add half a fen of Shu Qi; take one qian-spoonful at the time of onset. (Shang Han Za Bing Lun)

Before the onset, take half a qian (1 g) mixed with rice-water; at the time of onset, take 1 qian-spoonful (2 g).

散劑

Assist Yang, dispel phlegm, and stop malaria.

Pin Nue, with more cold and less heat.
