Chronic cough with lung deficiency, dual injury of Qi and Yin pattern. Choking cough with lack of Qi, shortness of breath and spontaneous sweating, dry mouth and tongue, thin pulse.
Modifications
Limb weakness; high uric acid: add Astragalus: 15, Licorice: 10. -- To withdraw from drugs: combine with Yi Gan San. -- Yang-deficient constitution, pale white swollen enlarged tongue with tooth marks: combine with Si Ni Tang. -- Kidney Yin insufficiency: combine with Liu Wei Di Huang Wan.
Cautions
1. For severe and acute conditions: the dosage of the whole formula should be increased. 2.
