Treat edema and distention/fullness, phlegm-fluid with dyspnea and qi counterflow
Pepper seed treats asthma; it appears more suitable for asthma due to water qi. For others, such as asthma from ministerial fire counterflow, it is instead contraindicated, because its tonification of the yang of the gate of life is probably not greatly different from pepper.
