Saposhnikovia and Burdock each 3 g; Forsythia 5 g; Schizonepeta, Notopterygium, and Licorice each 1.5 g (add Platycodon 3 g and Gypsum 5 g as a gargle).

Boil six bowls of water down to two bowls; take one bowl warm after breakfast and one after dinner.

Treats mumps (tonsillitis, parotitis, angina) with swelling and pain. For those with sore throat and swelling, half may be taken internally and the remaining half used as a gargle.
