Composition
Croton seed, Red ochre, Halloysite each 4g; Apricot kernel 8g
Preparation
Peel the Croton seed, grind it together with the apricot kernel in a mortar into a fatty paste, add separately finely ground Halloysite and Red ochre, grind together evenly, and form pills with rice paste. For children, 0.3–0.5 at a time, taken in one dose with warm liquid. The original method: make pills the size of millet, take 10–20 pills at a time with warm liquid; taking them with cold water is ineffective. If diarrhea does not stop after taking the medicine, drinking one cup of cold water will quickly stop the diarrhea. Originally, rather than warm or cold liquid, hot congee (hot rice broth) or cold congee is even better.
