證治準繩

Angelica sinensis, Peony, Ligusticum chuanxiong, Prepared rehmannia, Ophiopogon each 3g; Scrophularia, Anemarrhena, Phellodendron, Bupleurum, Moutan bark, Schisandra each 1.5g

Boil six bowls of water down to two bowls; take one bowl warm in the morning and one in the evening.

For oral and tongue ulcers and erosions occurring due to Blood deficiency with dry heat in the blood. That is, those of an anemic type with weak constitution, dry skin, and blood heat. This kind of erosion and ulceration also occurs after pyelitis or oral thrush, in the later stages of stomatitis, in Behçet's disease, and so on.
