Lung Abscess Decoction

原南陽

Platycodon root and Scutellaria each 3 g; Apricot seed and Fritillaria each 4 g; Trichosanthes root, white mustard seed, and Licorice each 2 g.

Decoct in water and take orally.

Lung abscess. Treats cough with foul putrid sputum, spitting pus from the mouth, or matter like rice grains, dull pain between the chest and ribs, sometimes penetrating to the back, or a withered voice and rapid breathing, with inability to lie down.
