Composition
Renshen 15 g, Jinyinhua 15 g, Chuanxiong 15 g, Fuling 15 g, Baishao 15 g, Baizhi 10 g, Huangqi 15 g, Gancao 10 g, Danggui 15 g, Zaojiaoci 10 g, Baizhu 15 g, Jiegeng 10 g, Lianqiao 15 g.
Preparation
Boil nine bowls of water down to three bowls; take one bowl warm after each of the three meals.

Function
Support the toxin and promote suppuration, tonify Qi and nourish Blood.
Traditional indications
Carbuncles and abscesses with deficiency of both Qi and Blood, where the swelling cannot ulcerate, or after ulceration cannot heal.
Modifications
Sores and ulcers with swelling, pain, and constipation, or head sores: add Dahuang 6, Huanglian 6, Huangqin 6.
-- Fever with swelling and pain: add Huanglian 6, Huangqin 6, Huangbai 6, Zhizi 6.
-- Carbuncle and cellulitis with swelling and pain: combine with Pai Nong San.
-- For severe dampness: add Yiyiren 30.
-- Blood stasis, keloid: combine with Gui Zhi Fu Ling Wan.
-- Wound scars, or acne scars: add Danshen 15, Jiangcan 10.
