Composition
Angelica, peony, ligusticum, and rehmannia each one qian and a half; phellodendron, astragalus, and uncaria each one qian and a half.
Preparation
Boil nine bowls of water down to three bowls; uncaria: Add later, boiling for only 15 minutes. Take one bowl warm after each meal.

Treats hypertension.
Traditional indications
For hypertensive patients with elevated diastolic pressure, positive urinary protein, easy fatigue, and suspected nephrosclerosis.
Modifications
Low back pain, high diastolic pressure: add Eucommia: 12.
