For the sixty-two kinds of wind in women, and blood-qi stabbing pain in the abdomen, Honglanhua (Safflower) Wine governs it. (Jin Gui Yao Lue (Essential Prescriptions of the Golden Cabinet))

Composition

Honglanhua (Safflower) 1 liang. The above one ingredient, with one large sheng of wine, decoct until reduced by half; take half in one dose; if it does not stop, take again. (Shang Han Za Bing Lun)
