外臺祕要方

Mahuang (Ephedra) 10 g, Xingren (Apricot kernel) 8 g, Houpo (Magnolia bark) 6 g, Chenpi (Dried tangerine peel) 6 g, Gancao (Licorice) 5 g, Chaihu (Bupleurum) 5 g, Zisuye (Perilla leaf) 5 g.

Boil six bowls of water over high heat down to two bowls. After meals, take one bowl warm each time.

湯劑

Diffuse the Lung and descend qi; relieve cough and calm wheezing.

Cough and asthma, chest tightness, thin and clear white phlegm, no thirst, accompanied by aversion to cold, fever, absence of sweating, thin white tongue coating, and a floating, tight pulse.
