Langya Decoction

金匱要略

When the shaoyin pulse is slippery and rapid, sores will develop in the vagina. When the vagina is eroded by sores and ulcerated, wash it with Lang Ya Tang. (Jin Gui Yao Lue (Essential Prescriptions of the Golden Cabinet))

Lang Ya (Herba Agrimoniae) 3 liang. For the above single ingredient, decoct with 4 sheng of water until reduced to half a sheng. Wrap a tendon with silk floss like a cocoon, soak in the decoction and drip it into the vagina, four times a day. (Shang Han Za Bing Lun)

湯劑

Clear damp-heat, eliminate discharge, and kill parasites.

Vaginal itching, or ulceration, with burning pain, yellow turbid discharge dripping continuously, red tongue with thin yellow or greasy coating, slippery and rapid pulse.
