-- For night fever and morning coolness, fever subsides without sweating, and the fever comes from Yin, Qinghao Biejia Tang governs it.
-- For those with Yin deficiency tending toward convulsion, Qinghao Biejia Tang must not be used.
Composition
Qinghao (2 qian), Biejia (5 qian), fine Shengdi (4 qian), Zhimu (2 qian), Danpi (3 qian).
Preparation
With 5 cups of water, decoct to obtain 2 cups; take twice a day.

Nourish Yin and outthrust heat.
Traditional indications
Late stage of warm disease, pattern of pathogenic factors lurking in the Yin aspect. Night fever and morning coolness, fever subsides without sweating, red tongue with scant coating, fine rapid pulse.
