Gubu Tang (Decoction for Protecting Steps)

辨證錄卷十三

Niuxi 30 g, Jinchai Shihu 30 g, Renshen 10 g, Huangqi 30 g, Danggui 30 g, Jinyinhua 30 g

Decoct in water and take orally. After one dose the black color resolves; after two doses the pain stops; after three doses there is complete recovery. If ulceration has already occurred, it is appropriate to take several more doses.

湯劑

Greatly tonify Qi and blood, and Clear heat and resolve toxin.

Severe depletion of Qi and blood; heat-fire toxin pours downward, causing foot gangrene. At the initial stage, the toes suddenly itch first, then become painful; the toenails appear black, afterward all toes become black, and in severe cases even the entire foot becomes black. It can be used for the pattern of heat toxin damaging Yin in gangrene, and clinically applied to thromboangiitis obliterans, diabetic foot, etc.

For severe heat toxin: combine with Wuwei Xiaodu Yin.
