Da Xiang Lian Wan (Major Aucklandia and Coptis Pill)

Huang Lian (remove roothead and rootlets, 20 liang; stir-fry together with 10 liang of Wuzhuyu until red, remove and discard Wuzhuyu), Mu Xiang (not exposed to fire, 4 liang 8 qian 8 fen).

Grind the above into fine powder; form pills with vinegar paste as large as wutong seeds. Take 20 pills each time, swallow with rice water.

Clear and transform Damp-heat, astringe the intestines and stop diarrhea.

Treats pediatric disharmony of cold and heat, diarrhea with thirst and restlessness, undigested food grains, abdominal pain and borborygmus; or dysentery with pus and blood, tenesmus, frequent nighttime rising, no desire for milk or food, emaciation, gradually turning into gan.
