Composition

Shen Qu (stir-fried), Huang Lian (remove rootlets, each 10 liang), Rou Dou Kou (wrapped in dough, roasted), Shi Jun Zi (peeled), Mai Nie (stir-fried, each 5 liang), Bing Lang (not exposed to fire, finely cut, sun-dried, 20 pieces), Mu Xiang (2 liang).

Preparation

Grind the above into fine powder; form pills with pig bile as large as millet. Take 30 pills each time, adjusting according to age; swallow with boiled water on an empty stomach. (Another formula: Huang Lian, Shen Qu, and Shi Jun Zi each 1 liang; Bing Lang and Rou Dou Kou each half a liang; Mu Xiang 2 qian; form pills with flour paste as large as radish seeds; swallow with boiled water.)
