Composition

Magnolia flower, Angelica dahurica root, Cimicifuga rhizome, Ligusticum root, Saposhnikovia root, Chuanxiong rhizome, Asarum herb, Akebia stem, licorice. Grind equal parts into powder. Take 3 qian (9 g) each time, mixed with tea and taken.

Preparation

Make into a fine powder. Take 3 qian (9 g) each time, mixed with tea and taken. Or change to decoction and take warm after meals; the dosage is determined according to the proportions of the original formula.

Disperse wind and dissipate cold, free the nose and open the orifices.

Traditional indications

Nasal congestion, incessant nasal discharge, or obstructed nasal breathing, inability to distinguish fragrant and foul odors.

Modifications

Nasal congestion, white and thick nasal discharge or postnasal drip, nasal polyp: combine with Gegen Tang (Pueraria Decoction).
